  Please Note:
Sand and Stone weigh approximately 1.5 tons per cubic yard of material.
Topsoil generally weighs approximately 1 ton per cubic yard of material.

Estimating:
If you are looking for a average volume and do not have a consistent grade find the minimum and maximum depths needed to fill, average the two and use that number as your depth.
Most people use 4-6" of topsoil cover to sustain root growth.
Large aggregate estimating can be difficult, contact us for help in these cases.
(i.e. Boulders, Cobbles, 3-5", River Rock,etc.)
Crushed Concrete or Road Gravel for use on driveways is typically calculated at 4-6".
